Commission for Holhorse on Deviantart.

This time an enemy from the Tenchu series. I really enjoy these games back in the day. 

I dont know why but I really enjoy drawing poses with sword type weapons, especially katana.

Taking another look at this, I feel the head is a bit big. Ill make it smaller when I continue.

The size of her head wouldn't have seem too big to me as she's leaning forward.

Its weird, but sometimes I feel something looks fine but I think, "maybe it could be bigger/smaller", then I change it and its like a fresh new look. But the next day I might think, "ah damn, thats a little too small" lol. The balance of the face(sizes of eyes, nose, mouth) also plays a role in balancing the head to the body. A lot of it is just feeling. Counting the heads is the last resort.
