Description:  Kanami Yano (光波 柳野) is a Shinigami or Soul Reaper OC from the Bleach Universe and a member of the Gotei Thirteen, a Japanese themed military organisation that supervises the reincarnation circle of the world and battles evil spirits which failed to move on in their afterlife. An artist with both the brush and the sword she's a "Spellblade"-type character incorporating fire magic and swordsmanship in her fighting style.

Even though she was mutilated and rendered mute in her already rough childhood, Kanami is the exact opposite of meek and her unwavering will to improve things for both the world and herself feeds the flames of her spirit.

As a Soul Reaper she has access to her unique personal sword created by pouring the very essence of herself into it over decades and is using her Bankai (Final Release) in this piece. It's called Zealous Beacons of Firestorms (熱意航路標識の火気 嵐, Netsui Kōro Hyōshiki no Kaki Arashi) and utilizes the fiery orbs near her for many different techniques and spells.
