To combat the growing monster epidemic android soldiers were created. Then in order to have the general public adjust to these weapons walking among them the androids were given personalities and off duty activities.

As the monster episodes decreased these androids were allowed to more freedoms. Sin So-ri became a musical idol of sorts performing with her Daegeum. Though if need be she can transform her large transverse flute into a laser cannon.
