Ariel Cosplaying Misty (Patreon)

Some three years ago now, and one of the earliest illustrations I did for this naughty account, I entered a contest with an unusual theme. The rule was to come up with one established fan character, who was cosplaying as another established fan character, and in bondage.

I chose Ariel to be cosplaying as Misty as I felt they had enough in common (same hair colour, similar colour of tail/shorts, both water-types in a sense) that they could be both recognisable by similar features, but still kept distinct by them being separated.

So now I decided to repaint her, compare the style and technique I used then, against styles I enjoy using much more recently, and see what I could come up with, and if I could improve the overall work.

While I do still like the original, I feel the new one is bolder with a better action curve to it. What do you think? :)
