Don't mind this fluff. It's so that free readers can't read half the chapter.

Fenrir

Once I finish filling the floor with the new type of monster – which I decided to just call Void Monitors, since they’re monitoring the void for flying outsiders – I go ahead and focus on the towers. Briefly feeling more than a little relief at the fact that I won’t likely have to replace the void monitors much. What with them only attacking the fliers.

Meaning they’ll be staying away from anyone not flying and therefore won’t be attacked as much.

Hopefully.

Anyways, I fill the minor towers – the towers that aren’t the main tower at the end of every path – with all sorts of new void monsters I’ve found in the void and even created. Some of which are mana creatures while others aren’t but are still native to the void.

Amongst the creatures are large praying mantis-like monsters that are completely black in color and can naturally camouflage in the void, different types of void serpents that have a type of necrotic venom containing trace hints of void mana that they absorb from the void around them, and even some void versions of monsters I’ve obtained from Midgard. Monsters I myself created by studying the patterns of natural void creatures without any mana and then changing the monsters to make them natural void creatures as well. Or as natural as I can get them.

There isn’t much I can do to perfectly mimic nature after all.

That’s beyond even me.

For now, at least.

Maybe when I reach Tier 5 or 6.

One monster after another, I fill up all of the towers. The process itself taking so long to do because of the mana necessary to do it that I end up getting that one last EXP level up that I was needing. Following which the usual process occurs and I officially ascend to Tier 4.

But the only thing I really pay attention to at that point is the fact that it restored my mana to full capacity. Allowing me to continue filling the floor with monsters again.

I fill up each tower specifically to have a different focus ‘void monster’ in it. Some towers with void-mutated Goblins, others with void-mutated Kobolds, some void-mutated Wolves, and so on. Each with a specific monster to their tower alongside the other regular void monsters that will inhabit them. The ones I usually have on my void floors.

Except with the twist that the regular versions of those monsters are in the parts of the towers on Midgard. So it swaps back and forth between the two whenever the outsider leaves and reenters the void through the portals.

A rather nice twist if I do say so myself.

After I finish filling all of the towers but the final one, I go ahead and turn my attention back to my core and avatar. Where I find Dawn dancing around in Fang’s body. Clearly happy about my advancement.

I enter my avatar’s body before standing up and walking over to Dawn, only for her to quickly begin dancing around me as well. A sight that has me chuffing in my avatar’s form of laughter.

“Now you can connect your dungeon to the surface!!!” Dawn exclaims, making me nod my head in response.

“Yep,” I reply before raising my head to look at the ceiling. “Let’s do that right now, in fact.”

Dawn calms down and goes silent. Likely to help me focus.

Meanwhile I close my eyes and begin expanding my dungeon further with the new ability I got from Tier 4.

The ability to expand my dungeon’s domain above the surface.

And I mean truly expand it above the surface. Not just the minimal amount I could before, but actually expand my dungeon upwards with more floors.

I can even add new floors above ground with a new entrance.

Actual floors. Not just some rooms that are technically considered part of my territory but not a full floor.

Which basically means I can add mana creatures and mini bosses in the places above ground now when I couldn’t before.

Of course, no one outside seems to notice any difference as I truly cover my embassy with my domain. No one other than the Vampire Prince and Demigod, that is.

But they just give me a brief congratulations before resuming whatever they were doing.

That said, some of the people inside of my dungeon do realize I ascended. What with the rather obvious side effects that come about from it that are hard to miss. And loud.

After expanding my domain fully through my embassy, I quickly begin to restructure it a little bit. A process that is very much noticeable to everyone outside.

Not that I care.

I just proceed to adjust it to my liking, forming a large black tower with the embassy part still at the bottom of it and some empty space behind the embassy for actual floors.

A lot of empty space at that.

But since I’m still in the process of making the twenty-fifth floor, I go ahead and stop there. Then I glance at Dawn and tell her, “You can design the above ground floors,” making her immediately glow a bright yellow in her excitement. And after jumping on me in a tackle of delight, she runs off while muttering to herself about designs for the floor.

I chuff at that in amusement.

Pretty much the reaction I expected.

I’ve always been rather big on controlling everything for my dungeon myself in terms of its design, even if I let her decisions on the aesthetics stuff go through along with any suggestions she has. Largely because I am still the one making the floors and not anyone else.

But it feels different if it’s the outside floors.

She can do what she wants with those. Something she’s wanted to do for a while.

Or rather, she can design it how she wants and tell me what she comes up with. Seeing as she can’t actually make floors and monsters herself as a wisp.

Well, anyways, I return to my core and refocus my attention once more on the twenty-fifth floor.

Time to design the main tower.
