They have all of this technology, couldn’t they just Skype each other or whatever? I know it isn’t the same as being physically there, but is it not the next best thing?

If that were possible they'd have done it. It's already been explained what happens if they try to communicate through some sort of device.

To be fair, she’s the most normal. She can integrate into society without causing significant problem. War would fight everyone, pest would experiment on everyone, and famine would starve everyone. Aria’s just a bit apathetic to everyone besides her friends. She doesn’t do anything to people unless given reason to.

Now i have an Image in my head where all Horsemen sit in a Cafe and talk about their 'normal' going ons. After all they think they are normal. And everyone else is absolutly terrified.
