My brain doesn’t want to share just one idea at a time, so I let ‘em loose! Even though my thoughts can be are a bit scattered, my enthusiasm always makes stories exciting, colorful, and fun! 🦋💭

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I know not everyone appreciates this aspect of our brains, but I think it's awesome and I wouldn't want to be any other way.

This is great! Even if it’s overwhelming to others sometimes I think this aspect of adhd is often positive. I love the butterflies 🦋

That’s me! I know this overwhelms some others to the point that they occasionally avoid talking to me when they’re already feeling a bit tense/anxious/distracted/etc. My perspective is completely different to theirs: like the two comments above, I feel that piling all the awesomeness together adds to the whole. Also, I feel really energised when somebody encourages me to just let fly and they interact when and where they can. The funny thing is, I also find it a bit overwhelming when somebody else lets the butterflies loos on me! So, I do know how I make others feel with the butterfly release thing 😀

I love this, you know how to design them so beautifully. And this is why my husband occasionally get confused during our conversations.

Dani, your comics are on the money nearly all the time. I was wondering if you use ADHD case studies and published research to back up your cartoon statements. This is not a criticism, it’s just a heads up. If you intend to publish, and I think you should, your going to need to back up your statements with references. Personal experience is not enough anymore- you probably know this already. I have a debilitating case of ADHD and can relate to most everything you put on paper. It’s such a relief/comfort to read others are like me and that I haven’t imagined or invented all these odd behaviors to sabotage or hold myself back. I’m retired now, but what a difference this insight would have made had I known when I was younger. Publish - and back it all up with some respectable references. The next gen of ADHD suffers will thank you, as well as a few grade school teachers 😂

Maybe this is why my boss doesn’t ever listen to my ideas?

This is why I have to write down what I plan on saying otherwise it just isn’t succinct 😫😂
