Jennifer Lawrence "Mystique" (Patreon)

In response to the final ending of a hugely influential franchise to me growing up I decided to make a ssbbw version of Jennifer Lawrence before she fades from the public for a bit of a break. I haven't seen the film yet, I will probably wait until its out on torrent or something.

This illustration originally started off as a Sophie Turner inspired pic but after seeing some screenshots of Jennifer as Mystique, I couldn't resist. She needed to be fattened! AM I RIGHT!?

There was a lot of drama surrounding this film and its perfect for my Fat Universe series to include Jennifer and rewrite history into this fictional one. I wanted to highlight how FOX had to go through an extra year of reshoots to allow Jennifer to continue gaining weight to catch up with Sophie who had been steadily gaining more fat on Game of Thrones.

Jennifer originally hated the idea to gain weight for her character but their was a scene in the new film now titled Derp Pheonix XXL Men. After the success of EndGame's portrayal of a plus size Thor and a thicker Black Wider it was guaranteed that Fox would have to up the ante and they would have to do it with practical effects. Only in Jennifer's contract it stated she disliked and refused to wear heavy makeup and bodysuits. The only solution therefore was for the actress to put on 454lbs to make weight. The scene question would be filmed in reverse where the Mystique character has to shapeshift and impersonate an obese ssbbw female character in the film.

This would show their support of strong women in movies and of plus sized people. And as soon as they released a "leak" to the methods of their actresses sitting in Eating Booths instead of having makeup applied the media went wild and the response did wonders for the advertising department. So enters my illustration as a Behind the Scenes look at the production during reshoots.

Initially against the idea, gaining weight was a challenge for Lawrence. She warmed to after tipping 200lbs starting to enjoy more time off set to stuff her face with all kinds of creative foods supplied by the catering company Aloysius Foods Incorporated. Unfortunately though Fox wouldnt supply any larger costumes for her massively expanding body and she had to uncomfortably waddle around set and spill out of her outfit. In comparison to her co star Sophie Turner who had a much bigger amount of weight to gain having to increase her weight by 890lbs. Lawrence would have to stand and struggle as Turner was hauled from set to set by a 10 man strong team of porters pulling her around on a specially designer sled with many suspension springs pushed to its max. Lawrence noted to her manager that the only way to relieve her frustration at being so massive, to keep gaining, and no sled to move around the only solution would be to comfort eat.

Her male costars were nothing but supportive, especially Fassbender who is rumored to have been nothing but hands on helping his two female co-leads increase their weight as a method actor himself.
