The main purpose of ASMR is to relax people, often times to help them go to sleep at night (though my definition of ASMR includes inducing smiles, feeling good, and friendship). While those new to the phenomenon/community may want to sexualize it or generalize certain sounds as inappropriate, ASMR is not inherently sexual. It's incredibly intimate, which many may confuse the two. Though there are Erotic ASMR videos out there (which I don't have anything against), this video is not intended to be so.
