Howdy! I need your honest feedback because there seems to be a difference between the sound, particularly the background/white noise, on my computer and on my phone once the videos are uploaded.

Is the background noise horrific? It sounds so, so awful on my computer. But listening to it in my phone it sounds normal-ish. Not the quality I want, that's for sure, but not as awful as it sounds on my computer.

Thoughts on me actually publishing it?

I didnt watch it with headphones on so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but to me it sounded fine, didnt notice anything out of the norm, it didnt really give me the tingly feeling, but i dont think anything was bad about the video to not wanna upload it

I would say post it, in the past you have said videos didn't turn out as good as you wanted, but when you released they were just fine. The video might have had more white noise that normal, but by no means was it a bad video. Besides lots of people like white noise in a video. So I imagine it is probably the same for this video. Sure the video will please most people :)

It could possibly just be something wrong with my hearing, but I listened to the video through my PC speakers and phone ear buds without noticing much white noise on either. To me your voice sounded lovely and so did the fluffy brushing, so I would definitely vote for publishing it.

I'm on my phone and I can honestly say I didn't even notice that there was any background noise. But in truth I like a little white noise coz pure silence creeps me out - kinda feels like you're lost in a vacuum! I fell asleep for most of it tho, except when you said my name and I woke up and then immediately fell back asleep again coz it was so good haha. I love the ear brushing and such good words. Hehe. ^-^ <3 Defo publish :3

Stating the obvious here, but, the sound cannot be optimised for every device used, all that you can do, as you are already doing, is strike a balance that you 'feel' is acceptable for production. I know, I know, you don't do 'acceptable', only exceptional, but, in this situation compromise is the only way. Otherwise, as is happenning, you spend hours and hours anguishing over small percentage difference. Publish and be damned Lauren, you've not produced a 'clunker' yet, as far as I know or have witnessed. Anyway, time to start winding down for your holiday, sorry, vacation, practice chilling, so you're an expert come Friday/Saturday. :):)

I really liked the quality on my phone. Almost no white noise. I mean, its not the zoom but it was good. Gonna watch it on my PC once I am home n see if there is a difference

I listened to it on my computer with earphones but no background noise it actually sounded wonderful to me. Have you tried listening to it on a different computer.

using closed headphones, i get some background noise. it's nothing too loud, but it is there

Honestly. I had to put the volume to maximum with a closed headphones to realize the sound you say, before that I did not realize it, I could thought it was the ambient sound, not at all annoying, but it is true that it is not therefore the quality of a studio of recording. The problem is that now I always hear it when I did not notice it before. Damn. :)
