An unexpected gryphoning for this poor fellow :V

Hey guys, I finished at Anthrocon and then I got really really sick. Like I didn't leave my bed or eat food for 4 days sick, and after that it was still a few days before I could even stay up for more than 4 hours at a time.

Probably the sickest I've ever been actually - me and Wonder both had negative covid tests though, so not sure if it was just the flu or not.

I've still got a pretty annoying cough, but I'm back to working on art at least.

I did this real fast on my first stream back tonight. I had a lot of fun at AC and will be posting some of the traditional work I did there once I clean it up too - I also owe someone a trade for stuff they did at AC... that'll be fun :B

Hope you feel better! Might have been COVID still. Some of the variants need multiple tests with fuller swabs(including cheek and throat scrubs generally not included in the original instructions). If you had tons of folks with no masks on nearby you it's almost 100% it though.

Maybe, we've done 3 tests now in the house and all negative though so maybe it's just a normal flu. We had a lot of folks around during the con but from reports post-con (we have a discord for our group), very few from the group got sick (just 2 others), and all of them got sick after the con - one of them for sure got sick at home. We mostly hung out with ourselves the whole con and wore masks anytime we weren't around our known group or were moving anywhere or had unknown people around. It's likely we caught it on the plane since no one at all was wearing masks in the plane itself except us and like, one flight attendant - there were also a lot of people coughing on the plane too. We also didn't get sick until a day or two after we got back.

Oh yeah, the no masks on flights thing is just dumb. Hopefully it is just the cold.
