Should I try doing 2D animations (Anime)? (Patreon)

Hi guys, I am thinking about a lot, does not matter how much 3DCG anime character looks right now we cannot deny the face of anime is mostly famous or known for its 2d animation.
So, I am being wondering if I should try my hand on 2D animation as well.

Of course, I won't do complete 2d I mean kind of HYBRID (2D+3D) to make my work easier.

I do have an idea what should I create. but what you guys think?
