Path of Souls [24x42] (Patreon)

As you stand on the Path of Souls, you can finally see the full scale of its desolation. Not a single plant or animal is in sight, and the air is dreadfully still. Pools of deep crimson gather in the crevices among the bleached rocks, eerily reminiscent of blood. The shape of th clifs surrounding you is weird, too symmetrical to be natural... and then it hits you. What seemed to be a enlongated precipice is in fact an arm, and a cracked wall - a face.

The gate awaits you at the end of the path - red like the liquid before you, pulsating with light and hungry. So very hungry. You cannot look away, even though you realize the dangers lying beyond it. You've risked everything to get here, so what harm is it in taking that last step and pehaps sealing your fate forever...?
