Happy New Year! (Patreon)

My patreon has been active for one year! I'm not the most prolific or regular of artist when it comes to personal work, but I want to thank you all for being part of this and supporting me and my creativity, it means the world to me! 

I didn't have a great 2021, apart from the freedom and comfort of posting to patreon, so I want to start the new year strong. I'm going fully self indulgent, I have another art book project in mind, and I want to share the first seeds of it here on patreon. 

Something medieval this way comes, something chivalrous and full of daring deeds and mounted knights. A tournament of highest skill and valour with noble houses invited to compete for the favour of the King, the hand of the Prince, and some good old fashioned glory. 

Here you'll see banners and heraldry- some of my favourite artwork with my own spin and fiction. Heraldry was used not just for documents and battle banners, but for knightly colours and easy identification in crowds and at celebrations. 

Chief among them is the royal house of the Briar family, with a golden bear and briar patch set on a field of crimson. Which would you cheer for in the stands?
