Weekly Update: Next Fight Preview! (Patreon)

The fight between Gwen and Sylvia will continue on Sunday, but I wanted to show what I was working on for the next fight, based on some of the responses I got here and questions I'd been asked in the past.

First, I'd been asked who my fighters beat to get where they are. I always pictured them building their records fighting for smaller, regional promotions like this one, the Louisiana Bayou Boxing Federation. Fighting for peanuts and bragging rights in backrooms and empty warehouses, they'd work to get noticed by the bigger promotions. Since I'm using the weekly update to showcase "vintage" fights from the past, it seemed like a good idea.

Also, people have wanted to see Sonya in action. Well, so have I! There were also requests to see more of Al and Dan, and I wanted to keep the format where the commentary felt more like someone  telling a story.  Also, I've started thinking about setting up boxing tag teams eventually and thought Al and Sonya would be a good pair. So, this is going to be Al's story of how she first met Sonya, and worked her corner in the LBBF Heavyweight championship against Grace "The Gator" Gastineau! And, a first for me, this fight will even have a referee!
