If I recall correctly Vanessa Roberts was the opponent/KO victim of Becky Barnes in the 1940s. Did Becky mess her face up like that or perhaps did some crooked promoter disfigure her permanently for refusing to dive at some point? Tornado is my favorite of these new characters by the way. Her and Lilly would be a barn burner of a topless boxing bout.

That is correct. This pic is around 1950, so about seven years after that fight.

I would like to see her with a nose that has been broken many,many, times, and shows it. Also, with scar tissue around her eyes from hundreds of cuts over the years. she actually looks a little too good...haha
