I'm trying to use my "vacation" to stockpile some pages and lessen my monthly workload a bit for the rest of the year. I wanted to experiment with a hand-drawn look without committing to a big project for it, and using a nine-panel grid structure to condense the story down to keep it from getting too long. This should only run about sixteen pages or so, and run for a couple of months on one of the lower tiers. There'll be both a regular and "hand-drawn" version of each page to download.

Yeah, love the look. Going to be an interesting story--as usual.

It's great to see you experimenting with different visual effects. It's a close call, but I like the drawn version a little better because the images are so vibrant and the textures of the surfaces (such as her burn scars) have an almost tactile feel. Both of these effects enhance the overall mood of the images. I'm also enjoying the fighter's backstory.
