Pulled from various college sport organization and team fighting  setups and rulesets to create my own college program.

Weights:

Instead of the two weight classes I have in the pro leagues, the college system has three to lessen the chance of extreme weight differences between fighters. Lightweight is for any boxers below 140 lbs. Middleweight is for those weighing between 140 and 170, and heavyweight is 171 lbs. and above. Each school's team will have 6 members with two fighters for each weight class.

Meets:

Schools will compete against each other in bi-weekly meets.  Each boxer will compete against someone from the other school in the same weight class for a total of 6 fights. Each fight will be five 3-minute rounds. 4 judges at ringside will give the boxer that they feel won each round one point with an additional point for each knockdown. Boxer with the most points wins the match and the school with the most points at the end of the meet is declared the winner.

Regions:

Schools will be divided into three geographic regions: East, Midwest, and West. During the regular season schools in the same region will compete against other. At the end of the season, the school with the best record in each region will meet in a three-way round-robin tournament. The school with the most points at the end of the tournament will be national champion, and then the two boxers in each weight class with the most points will meet in a 7 round match to decide individual national champions.

Kind of reminds me of my time in the Navy when the ship set up boxing rings on the hangar deck. Except it wasn't topless women on the card but skinny guys windmilling at each other until one of them fell over.

Yeah, I was trying to mimic the feel of some of the amateur tournaments I'd been in. Except those had six rings going at once.
