Notes on Ring Queens part 2 (Patreon)

I've decided to split up Ring Queens into 2 parts, and the 8 pages that will be posted this month to the $15 tier will be a good stopping point for part 1. Part 2 will begin next month in that same tier, and part 1 will be collected and put on sale on my lulu store.

I'm doing this for two reasons. The first is length: Part one will be 44 pages, and what will be part two will easily run another 30, if not more. For customers outside of Patreon, that makes the price for one 75-page book more than they want to spend all at once. I've found that by splitting stories up, I actually end up making more sales overall.

The other reason is some new products and upgrades have come out that I think improve the overall look of the characters. An upgrade to the gloves I use now lets me increase their size, which gives them a better overall look and feel. And the new trunks I've started using look really good with this more cartoony style. The sample images above show the upgraded look. It looks weird making even little changes like that halfway through a story, though, so having the changes take place in part two makes it less noticeable.
