So, for those of you that don't know, my mom passed away last Thanksgiving after a long battle with cervical cancer. You could say she's one of the reasons this site and these stories exist(beyond the whole giving birth thing,) since the sudden need to be able to make money from home and make my own hours while I took care of her forced me to look at making a fun side hobby my primary source of income.

Anyway, her birthday's today. Yes, she would have been 69, and this joke's been floating in my head for a week because apparently I'm twelve.

The Random Rumble post for the $5 tier may not go up until tomorrow. Thanks for your patience, and thanks to all of you for your continued support. Your patronage over the last few years made being able to help her so much easier than it could've been.

I lost my mother and father in the span of 2 years. Focus on the good times as they will always outweigh the sorrow.

As long as you continue to honor her memory, she's not really gone. I lost my father this spring. But he's not really gone As the king said in 'Henry V,' 'This tale shall a good man tell his son.' And so, he lives because I tell my sons about him.
