Some Housekeeping Notes (Patreon)

Patreon has made some changes to comply with Apple, so I'm having to make some small changes myself as well. For the vast majority of you it won't be anything you notice.

The main change is that I'm switching to what's called subscription billing. Right now if you sign up partway through the month you're still billed on the first for the new month. Changing to subscription billing means that your subscription lasts for 30 days from the day you sign up. So if you sign up on the 15th, for example, you wouldn't get charged again until the 15th of next month. If you're already getting charged every month on the first, you won't notice anything different. This is more of a heads up for those of you that take a few months off and sign up again later.

This isn't related to the Apple changes, but I'm also going to go ahead and turn on annual subscriptions. There will be a discount for signing up that way, you'll get 12 months for the price of 11. And if I take a month off, a month is automatically added to your subscription so you don't have to worry about not getting what you paid for.

Lastly, Patreon has improved their ability to delete posts in bulk so next week I'll be going through and deleting the individual page posts for most of the stories that have been completed in the lower tiers. The most recently completed story in each tier will still be available, and the completed PDF versions will remain available for patrons in the $20 tier.
