Known Issues:

• The maid outside of Evergarden Café doesn't sell parfaits.
• Gifting is currently unavailable for some girls.
• Azula/Celestia cannot be interacted with inside the household.
• Celestia can't be sent to work through Laureate's suite.

Minor Changes: 

• Omikuji from Celestia now grant more money.
• Trash collecting now has reduced money.
• $10 Patrons now receive $2000 bonus money per update. This, of course, stops when you load into the non-$10 version of the game.

Thoughts on 0.3.0

Good morning everyone,

We start a new chapter of SL in this update. We're slowly getting to where we were before the entire reboot thing. Fun fact, it's been about one-year since I started the reboot. Crazy how time flies, right? It feels like yesterday when it all began.

In this update, we'll meet our shy devout, Altina, who serves as a low-ranking clergy member of the church. I always thought that she was one of the more popular characters in SL but we'll see what people think as we get to know her on a personal level. For me, she's probably my top two/three to work on. I have a lot of ideas involving her in the future.

To be honest, I'm not totally happy with the scenes I made for her in this update. As I've mentioned repeatedly in previous posts, I've been experiencing a slump and it has taken a toll on the creative process for 0.3.0. That being said, I do feel like I got a lot of work done and that the amount of content in this update is up to my standard. I think the Celestia ending was also extremely well thought out and good. A lot of you seemed to like her arc as well.

A criticism that I've been seeing in my DM's recently is from people asking me to please make X character "avoidable" , to remove her completely, or to change her story. Basically, they don't like a certain character's personality, etc. All I can say about that is that we'll be having like 16 characters before the game is done and it's completely normal for you to not like some of them. That's normal in games and in real life. So if I'm spending a month or two focusing on one specific character that you don't like, I apologize but you don't have to send me messages about why you don't like said character and your ideas about what I should do with her.

Back on topic, I think Altina's arc will be done... in maybe two more months? I have two more scenes planned for her before we reach her finale. Though, her finale is linked with other characters, so she really won't be done until then. I also want to do another dating scene for either Azula or Celestia (probably will start a poll on this very, very soon.)

Lewd Button and Final Thoughts

Alright, so the gallery sometimes feels like a "bust" because I know that a lot of you just want to skip to the "good parts". But since scenes are so long now, there's too much dialog involved that it takes a while to get to where you want. So after a lot of coding and headaches, I decided to add a "Lewd Button" whenever you speak to girls so that you can instantly repeat old scenes without the text. The actions available change depending on when and where you speak to the girls. For example, if you're speaking to Silvia in the kitchen, you'll be able to repeat doggy/rubbing her butt scenes, speaking to her in bed means you'll be able to repeat the handjob scene, and speaking to her while in her room will let you repeat the bath scene. Some characters currently do not have this button yet (Laureate and Ferry).

Like I said though, this is a lot of extra code for something that feels minuscule. I don't know if it's worth it since I'll have to constantly update it. Also, you get affection when you do these things except when you're doing something creepy without her knowing like voyeurism. I thought about adding some kind of lust stat where you unlock newer scenes the higher it becomes but thought against it. Also, the $10 version of the game instantly unlocks all of the scenes immediately so you don't have to wait for the scene to unlock itself before viewing.

I am also thinking about adding special side animations for higher pledgers. Basically, it'd be a version of the game for maybe $20 pledgers where you see different sex animations (however, no dialog). Probably a bad idea? The goal is to promote higher pledge tiers and I feel like it's so small that no one would really care about it unless you really wanted to throw money at me. I don't know, I've just been thinking of better ways to promote the game and help it grow. However, I'm not a big fan of adding content that other people will never be able to see so I'll continue to think about it.

And like always, thank you all for the support. There are some people out there who claim that I'm "milking my audience dry" by doing small updates or something, but I want to assure you that this is not true. I quit my career for this project (a career where I made over double what I do now). I work on this project every day, 7 days a week. You literally see me online on Discord every day, usually open for conversation. I'm not out partying, traveling, drinking, gaming (barely), or doing anything except work. I don't watch movies or go outside at all (I honestly just can't afford it lol). It's kind of depressing and I'm still in a slump but we don't need to talk about that again. Just know that you guys do keep me SANE. If it weren't for you guys, the project would have ended over a year ago and I'd be back in the office with my shitty job. You guys keep me going. I love you guys, and let's keep up the hard work.
