June 2022 - Monthly Renders (Patreon)

Good morning everyone,

Progress has been stagnant this week. However, I've gotten so much work done early in the month that I think I'll be able to provide a good update. We shall see. I feel every month, I complain about the state of my livelihood, and this month is no exception. It's kinda disappointing and de-motivating because Scarlet Law hasn't really grown in the past 3-4 months. We've been stuck at about 350 Patrons for a long while now.

My original New Years' resolution was to reach 500 Patrons. There's still a long way to go, but I'm starting to realize that nothing is more beneficial to my mental health than just seeing the game grow. I know it may sound selfish to say that, but money is a huge problem for me at the moment. I'm not even sure if I'll have enough money to pay for my car insurance payment in two months.

That's why I always want to say, thank you all for your support. I really do mean it. Sometimes I feel insane working on this project all day by myself. I don't really make enough money to live and I'm completely devoid of any social interaction (for the most part). I love working on the game, but sometimes I miss my old job. At least I didn't have to worry about money, could actually afford to go out and treat myself, and not have ramen noodles as a staple in my weekly meal prep.
