Good evening everyone,

This is a character preview for Serena, the childhood friend. A lot of you already know who she is, but I'll give a quick character rundown, anyway.

As you'd expect from a childhood friend, Serena lives next door to you and you see each other almost every day. The two of you met when you were only children and would often go to school and play together. This changes when you both enter puberty.

When Serena's body starts to develop at a rapid pace, her popularity in school skyrockets. The two of you grow increasingly distant, as Serena makes new friends. Our poor hero is left believing that he has no chance with her because she is simply too popular and beautiful to ever want anything to do with him.

Although MC still sees her as a close friend, whenever he thinks of her as a woman and considers asking her out, he becomes nervous and anxious. He's had a crush on her since they were kids. Serena feels the same way about him. Of course, both of them are too embarrassed to ever admit it.

Serena is worried about her weight and exercises regularly. She is a very frugal person and hates wasting money. At the same time, she's very confident in her body and is willing to stand up and say something if she sees something wrong. She has a crush on MC but is waiting for him to make the first move before she lets him know how she feels. She's happy that she's working together with MC, but is jealous when he surrounds himself with so many girls.

In SL, we will explore the dynamic of their relationship. I'm expecting possibly 3-4 scenes before we reach her Scarlet Contract. All of this is pending, of course, but I'm expecting to be finished with her arc in 2-3 updates (hopefully 2). Serena's arc will be accessible very early in the game, as I'm trying to make the game as sandbox-y as possible.

Anyway, here are some cute renders of her below. I think I did a pretty good job with Makoto's arc, and I'm hoping that Serena's story turns out just as good.
