Dev Diary #25 - 0.2.2 is just about ready! (Patreon)

As the title suggests, 0.2.2 is basically ready for release. The only thing I have to do left is proofread and run the game for bugs.

I have to say, I'm really happy with what I've accomplished in this update. Everything just looks so polished and beautiful that I'm excited to work on more... Well, after a short break. I spend wayyy over 40 hours a week on this project. Sometimes I feel as though I'll fall too far behind if I take a vacation from SL. I don't know if the amount of content I provide each month is sustainable (likely not), but we'll keep rolling with it until I'm completely burnt out.

Anyway, enough of my usual ranting. Let's discuss what's in this update.

We have a new title screen since I'll be planning on working with "BUILDER GUY" for a while. I hope you like her story. I think by manually creating animations for the game, I'll be able to keep it unique compared to other games using the same engine. I've said this before but I want to make the SL world memorable for the players and I think this is a good way of doing it.

Speaking of Builder Guy, "he" will be introduced in this update. It's a really long scene, so please bear with it. The main purpose is to continue the story of the game. I believe I spent over 2 weeks working on this scene alone. I spent another week making characters. and the last week and a half were spent making scenes (which feel a little rushed IMO). Also, you can now view MAIN STORY SCENES from the PC inside your bedroom. It's not all of them, obviously, but the juicy ones with nudity.

I'd love to be able to just take my time with everything like some other devs, but... I'm just not financially settled to take vacations/work on my leisure. I think someday, updates will be a few weeks over a month long before they're released but for now, I'm still going to do whatever it takes to have an update every month.

Besides the main story scenes, there is also a Laureate scene and a scene for Silvia. Laureate won the previous poll and I decided to have a short scene for her (If you played the game before the reboot, you will know what scene it is). I admit that it's short but I hope it's not too disappointing.

For Silvia, wow, this was a lot more intricate for me to do. It took many, many, many hours to get the right angles, etc. This is also the first X scene in the reboot. I hope it looks good. Again, these animations are custom-made by me (and took a looooooong time to get right) so they aren't something you'd normally see in a similar-styled game.

This will be the first time (in the reboot) where you will be given a choice with different outcomes (OFC, it won't really impact the game in any way so don't worry if you choose wrong). Basically, if you make the right choice, you get to lewd Silvia. If you make the wrong choice, you get nothing. You'll also be able to replay this scene from the gallery so you can just select the other option if you chose wrong. There will also be a notification to let you know that you chose wrong. 

I don't know about this. I just thought it would be fun to throw a curveball to the gamer. We may or may not have more of these in the future. I hope the scene looks good to you when you see it. It was frustrating getting the proper angle and everything to work.

Finally, there's a new TIK TOK on Estelle's channel. I'm not sure how often I want to update this but we'll see. If you could leave a LIKE, I think it'd greatly help out.
