Usagi and Mamoru Sculpt revealed! (Patreon)

Hello my lovely Patrons!

I'm super excited to share the first WIP progress we have on our lovely couple!

Please remember that this project is in it's early development, this means, lots of things will be polished, corrected and improved along the way, it's a bit crude and details are usually left for the end once the main elements are set (imagine nails, hand and hair definition, creases, folds, etc, etc).

We have already hit our first bump in the road, translating 2D to 3D is indeed challenging, especially because we only have one angle to work from.

Usagi's right was suppose to be holding the top of his right shoulder, it looked pretty awkward so we decided to move it just a bit so that she'd touch the nape of his neck instead, it looks good from the front but as soon as you see the back, it looks like she's forcing her arm to go all the way up his back to reach that point, to us it looks uncomfortable because we imagine this in real life and it would feel like she's making too much an effort to do it, so here's our first request for feedback, should we keep her arm position as it is, or should we move it so it can touch the middle of his back (see last picture to visualize that position).

We'll work on Mamoru's fringe so that it looks like it has a bit more free fall to not be stiff, Usagi's right odango will also be added later hence why it's not there.
