Child Senshi Behind the scenes 👀 (Patreon)

Hello my lovely patrons!

I haven't been able to get you a new update on Aoba because I'm actually in crunch time with the child senshi that I'm working on for a new video, so let me tell you what I'm doing over there to keep you in the behind the scenes loop 😁

I actually have 2 sets of these super rare kits, and I'm panting both at the same time, one for me and the other one will be put up for sale but unless you read the entire post on my IG and FB posts, you won't know that lol so I'm saying that right here for you guys as well.

These are from the Supers Movie, the overall theme of the movie is children, and these girls had a brief appearance in the opening of the movie as their child selves. 

Usa-P house created kits of all them back in the 90's, he didn't sell them as a set, they were actually sold at separate times in events like Wonder Fest and Jaff Con, so it was super hard to get all.

He based his designed on this illustration where all of them appear I believe as a promo for the movie back then

I'm not gonna lie, the sets are recasts, but it was getting them like that or never getting them at all lol, I got them many years back from a private seller, so I don't know where you could possible get the complete set at this point.

But as you can see, the sculptor didn't sculpt everything that the children had, mainly accessories and little details that I guess he didn't want to sculpt? Dunno.

However, being the perfectionist that I tend to be, I upgraded them and created the missing items that were left out, thanks to my new 3D printer and with the help of my lovely boyfriend, cuz, he's the one that knows how to 3D sculpt  😂

I could have just painted them as-is but I couldn't do it lol, hence why I've been doing overtime and crunching a lot of work in the last 2 weeks, because I want to try and get the video ready for April 30th which is international children's day to go with the movie theme. 

At this point I'm not sure if I'll make it, but there's no turning back, this is what I have left to paint, so maybe I'll make it, maybe I won't 

As you can see, masking has been a royal pain, this is the reason why I hate single piece kits, because then you're left with having to mask over mask over mask. But I'm doing the best I can.

I'm also designing a custom display base for them with a small theme of the movie villains on the sides, I'm just doing some basic designs on tinkercadd because like I said, I know shit about 3D modeling lol and this is as basic as you can get.

So wish me luck in getting this done soon, remember that you guys get a day early access, so you'll get to see this first!

I was thinking that maybe you guys would also like another exclusive video of just questions, any question that you guys here want me to answer, I'd be down to making a video to respond to all them 😁
