1/7 scale Usagi and Mamoru "Honeymoon" Mega Reveal! (Patreon)

Hello my dear patrons!

I'm very happy to finally bring you the big reveal! Just in time to celebrate Usagi's Birthday too!!

After I managed to print out the large piece of the kit which is the bed sheet, I spent the last week sanding and polishing every single piece in this kit!

Please ignore the large base, it's there just so you can have it as reference to see how large of a scale it is, the prints didn't come out well, they kinda warped and there were large gaps left, I printed those pieces on my other 2 printers which could have been a mistake but I couldn't risk this project getting delayed anymore while I was trying to get the Jupiter SE to work, I even asked our amazing digital artist ShadowCraft to cut the bed sheet even further in case the big printer feel through, I needed to have backup back, which I'm glad that the printer worked in the end but still, always have plan B! So I'm going to have to re-print another copy of the base but this time with the Jupiter SE to keep the same output quality and not have products from different printers with that but the base will be a single piece, I need to fuse, putty and sand it to make it whole before sending it to production.

Please also ignore the small dollops of hot glue on some of the pieces, since they are just sanded and primed, they are not pinned so I had to use something temporary to keep the parts together.

The fitting is pretty nice, there are some areas that might not look like it but it's due to the hot glue messing it up.

Not gonna lie, I almost went cross-eyed sanding this couple, many many hours were spent doing it but there are still a couple of little details here and there that need a little more sanding, so please don't worry if you notice some slight print lines, they will disappear.

I'm going to print out the second copy to make a master out of it and paint this one as a prototype.

I've sent a quote request to the workshop and studio, I should hear back next week as the weekend got in the middle of it.

There will be be 2 versions for each unpainted and pre-painted copies, the "Normal" version which will just be the pair on the bed and the "Delux" version that will include the large base to place them on.

Pre-painted version will be produced with a limited number of copies while the unpainted kit will be available to as many people as they'd like to purchase but still maintaining a certain limit, let's say I get 50 orders but the workshop requires me a minimum of 60, 60 will be ordered, the 50 pre-orders will be fulfilled and 10 will be left for the after-sale (remember, this is just a number for ref) so that's how this project will be organized, basically the same as when I did Amalthea.

I will update with the price next week as soon as I get it from the workshop/studio but pre-orders (for both) will not start until I finish painting the prototype in 1-2 months from now so there will be time to save for the deposit.

Pre-orders will be done directly through my website (already working with my webmaster to help with code for a shop section for easy checkout) , so please don't worry, there will be time and it won't be confusing!

Kit is at a 1/7 scale and comes with 42 parts for the Normal version, 43 for the Delux ver. All white resin.
Both unpainted and pre-painted copies will numbered and will include the original illustration done by Blue as a mini poster gift for patrons only.
