That's from "What if Gravity is NOT Quantum" a couple months ago, right? I remember watching it and thinking the little ball is not following the path I thought it should follow. But, of course, intuition - and graphics - are not always a perfect way to figure this stuff out. So I went back to watch it again. Skimming through the video, I cannot find that image. When is it?

Would any of the gravitational wave detectors we have running be able to detect the waves from a binary SMBH system? It seems very likely that not all galaxy collisions end with the merger of their black holes, at least not right away. With so many galaxies, there must be a system somewhere that has two large SMBHs in a tight orbit around their COM creating decent size waves, no?

sorry ... didn't know about the CR posting function. ,,, a video about UFO. i know of only a paper by Knuth & alia and a 1969 paper in "Science" by Markowitz that treat the problem seriously as: explain observations physically. the observations generally amount to: (1) atmospheric speeds in excess of 100 km/sec without ablation, (2) acceleration in excess of 80 g's without exhaust plume or heat discharge, (3) an enveloping refractive envelope, (4) an "anerodynamic" form (lack of wings, props, etc.). you've done some videos about alcubierre drive and interstellar travel so this would bring science attention to a new aspect of the problem. i think a benefit here is to address the science community and ask why science is not taking this so far inexplicable phenomenon, which is now the offical job of the official office of our DoD chartered by law of Congress to look into "these things". this raises the issue of UFO stigma and the concerns that exist within academe about tainting one's career with UFO interest or advocacy. which in itself is obesiance by science to politics, which in itself is not a good thing for science.

i should point out that the "alien" problem of behavior control is a separate issue from issue with physical laws. there *is* a behavior control problem because UFO will generally evade approach, or shadow aircraft in flight, something that was described about them since 1947. it's useful to point out that there is a control problem that is separate from the physical issues of observed capabilities, just as biological science has solved many physical questions about life without being able to explain consciousness. and so it is a problem we can set aside. (i think Markowitz makes a similar distinction.)
