Hi All, 

We had a great AMA last night featuring Matt and writers Graeme Gossel and Fernando Franco Félix. 

We talked about writing Space Time episodes, whether consciousness has a quantum component, JWST, and particle accelerators. Also The Orville and The Rings of Power!

Its really nice hearing the perspectives of the writers, Graeme and Fernando cowrote many of my and my wife’s and nephew’s favorite episodes and it was a pleasure hearing from them. That Asimov book sounds amazing, is it “Chronology of the World”? Just added that to my reading list because of this video. It was also really nice hearing the team’s perspective on teaching concepts as a story while avoiding specialized knowledge. The JWST truly feels historic. Being able to see back to our universe at its infancy must be akin to how our parents felt while watching man walk on the moon. Also the video you uploaded yesterday was phenomenal. Massive props to the amazing writing and top notch production team. The portal for 137 in last night’s episode being from Rick and Morty was a very nice reference!

I do a lot of 10-15 min presentations on similar topics for my local astronomy club - not of this quality, of course. You guys are really inspirational for me!
