This season we have seen some great showcases of blood magic, if we look at this episode. And Eminence in shadow from last week which is good to see

The way they did that transition of Fern floating to Lugner's memory of Frieren floating amidst scores of fallen demons...and then how the OST kicks in with that cold glare from Frieren looking down...with another transition of Frieren confronting Aura in present time all the while Lugner does the title drop - oh man, I watched that sequence over multiple times it was just so good. I love it!
