character designs are a bit different but the core idea of Goblin Slayer is alive and well so overall I leave quite happy

Not sure how much of this I can keep watching, tbh. The new character art style bugs the everliving crap out of me. Almost looks like a shōjō.

Not a fan of the new designs but the Opening is animated so incredibly well I still have high expectations for the action. I just hope that my brain will be able to adjust to the new designs. The first season used CGI pretty well but it looks like this studio is keen on not using it, and still managing to beef up the animation. If we're trading off the better artstyle of S1 for better animation here in S2 I'm okay with that.
