22:14 episode 8 begins. episode 7 was probably my fav episode so far such creative combat and I love how in-depth Goblin Slayer's thought process is! episode 8 was also pretty nutty with the flour explosion!

2023-12-24 06:46:33 The miracle of resurrection requires a virgin, hence why Priest Girl was there, but she doesn't have enough magic power to perform the miracle. Shield Maiden is a high enough level cleric to perform the miracle but she isn't pure since she was attacked by the goblins, so she provided the magic while Priest Girl provided the other requirement. I kinda like how there isn't a single character in this anime with an actual name - there is Goblin Slayer, Cow Girl, Priestess, Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, & Guild Girl. There is also the fan favorite - Slutty Witch

Lots of symbolism and clever cinematography in this anime. My favorite is the bars on his helmet equating to the slats on the floorboards of his house as he watched his sister die from below similar to how he was in that battle after taking that mortal blow, but he refused to give up and got back in the fight.
