Bleach is finally back! That OP is easily OP of the season for me atm and some great bombshells like Ichigo possibly not returning to the world of the living or Ishidia becoming Quincy King's successor!

They really didn’t add any recap. All that was in the manga, they just made it make sense more easily. Baby will make more sense soon.

The only thing that gets me is that when Uryu took the drink from the saucer, it was only his bottom lip that was stained. Wouldn't the blood stain the top lip instead if you drink from a saucer like that? The bottom lip would be under the saucer, so it wouldn't work. Even if he pursed his lips together, then both would be stained. Bad use of physics.

If he opened his lips slightly and touched the saucher to his lower lip, he could just let the blood flow into his mouth without it ever touching his upper lip (since gravity would keep the blood on his lower lip). Even if his lower lips are completely covered while drinking, the moment he pulls his mouth away, his lower lip could brush against the edge of the saucher and it would get stained from the remaining blood that is still stuck to the edge.
