Mikey's dying form being cradled by Takemichi in his last moments freaking broke me so much in the manga. The anime has its moments too. Like, how when Mikey dies, his eyes are "normal" suggesting that he's always dead inside. Then there's that close up of Mikey's tears where his blood starts mixing in with the tears. At first, I felt like the closeup of Mikey's tears took away from the moment but when I realized what it was trying to show, I was quite impressed. .... Yea, I still can't get over Takemichi cradling Mikey's dead body. That is so haunting and upsetting.

Sorry for accidentally deleting my first comment. Don't remember much of my previous comment except the video I linked. https://youtu.be/saUETJ7aK0E I also sortta remember mentioning that I cried reading the manga and Mikey being my favorite. And that it's somewhat ironic and sad that Mikey ends up on this path despite wanting people to stay by his side instead of losing more people. Anyways, one episode left so I can't wait!
