So my thoughts are that first I was a bit disappointed that last week it was only a recap episode. Then if it only was one season I could see them making one or more of them dying. As I think that would make the show more bittersweet and bring up more of that darkness. Then I also think that decision would make the show more memorable. Otherwise if they did more seasons I would agree with you that a time skip would be a good idea

Another great reaction! also it's a bit of a hard spot but there's a 2 women parenting pair sitting behind kazuki and rei in one scene! And both our boys already planning for next year.. they're really set in this for life now! I really love that Buddy Daddies goes so far as to make the relationship between Kazuki, Rei, and Miri feel so mutually earned! The equality took a while to reach, with Rei not knowing how to love on equal terms or do the most basic things, but now Miri and Kazuki's open affection is equally met by him. Also, I really love how last episode rei was thinking if he could change and in this episode we see that he already is! Cheering for Miri, being loud, making food, going the extra mile! It's great
