Good reference in this episode, that you would know if you have read the source material. Also that ore is the strongest metal in the dungeon. And blacksmiths usually use that to make an alloy which makes weapons nigh-unbreakable. So the weapon could be even stronger then the leftover bandage on our Amazon lol

Just to give a bit of context without spoiler to what they said in the flashback, the nightmare on the 27th Floor happened 6 years ago, with Evilus leading a bunch of adventurers into a trap. Luring them down there and leading a massive amount of monsters to attack them in a giant pass parade killing nearly everyone involved including the Evlius members. Loki Familia was initially part of the group, but Finn caught wind of their plan and pulled out at the last moment, while also making a counterattack on the surface, targeting their evil patron deities. And then Astraea Familia was decimated 5 years ago when Ryu was 16. If you go back to episode 10 during Jura's rambling, he mentioned that at first the Rudra familia only intended to bury them alive by blaze rocks explosion, yet the girls managed to survive, then you know what happened. Let's just say that the author, Omori-sensei dedicated 3 books specifically to the Astraea familia backstory, so it would always be emotional and heartbreaking for fans who were invested in their characters to watch their last moments. As the dungeon became enraged, all monsters responded to its will and started joining in the bloodbath as well. Remember all the corpses of adventurers died by the Juggernaut? The monsters ate those and kept thirsting for more blood. It's already established that the dungeon as a whole is sentient being with its own will, holding extreme hatred for mortals and gods. I saw lots of people complaining about Marie not showing up, remember that she was on the 27th floor helping Bell, and with the Dungeon collapsing everywhere, she, a mermaid, couldn't move freely. Plus, she, as a Xenos, never officially met the party. Be patient for now. Surprisingly, I am very happy with this episode. Perfectly paced and faithfully adapted that gave the audience and the characters a short break without taking away the tension. The next episode is Welf's glorious moment. On a second note, I feel the need to point out that the subtitles on Hidive had always been a bit "off" compared to other streaming platforms. Adamantite is a rare metal from the dungeon, the second-strongest material in the world. It can be found on all the floors but the deeper the floor from which it is extracted, the purer it will be. The Deep Floors have the purest version, which is proportionally related to its hardness. Only Lv 6 advanturers and above can break them. Orichalcum is the highest quality material, a must have for crafting virtually indestructible weapons. Don't forget about all the materials they've been collecting since the first cour, plus the recent dragon liver from Amphisbaena.

Yeah true but from what I have heard Orichalcum is an alloy. That is created from adamantite by blacksmiths. Also I think that strongest fit adamantite better then precious. As it exist more valuable items in the dungeon
