my guess in why they were hating casandra so much was she was repeating herself and locked up and wasnt fully helping in the fight. but i can actually get her view point. its like endless torture with no one to help end the endless nightmares due to the curse of other people to never believe her dreams. only one who believed her was bell. on earlier episodes the reason why he didnt listen to other warnings were because of peer pressure from the other party members on him plus one was a job and the 2nd he wanted to find ryu to clarity to know he is right that ryu was framed and not a murderer. but if we actually go back to season 2 when ishtar tried charming bell, we learned his special skill negated her charm. so what if that skill also negates the curse. which is why he can believe in casandra's dreams

Loving the reaction Brandon. Also I fully agree with what you said about Cassandra. As she is one of the ones that have been dealing with the most trauma of anything here. Also I agree with you that I would also rather have Mikoto survives. As you got to love girls with great lung🫁 captivity am I right 😉

The series wasn’t really about death and more about hope and growth. And there was stuff we didn’t see until this episode. Cassandra can’t usually be believed and it’s hard to trust something intangible

Let's just say the quality has dropped a bit compare to the first 2. Not so much in the way of animation wise, but how the scene wasn't properly conveyed to the audience. To conserve strength and defend Bell while having limited movement due to having a broken leg, Ryu specifically aimed at the monster's weak spot, its magic stone, making swift kill as fast as possilble. The goliath robe did protect Haruhime from being burnt by the napalm, but the heat was still so extreme that she felt like her throat could burn at any moment, rendering her useless especially when all she could do is chanting magic. Yet for Bell and the others, she pressed on and delivered the last bit of her spell, 1 boost was enough. This was supposed to be her shining moment in vol 14 but it went by too swiftly. For the sake of making things look cool, JC totally ignored the fact the blue napalm can not be put out by regular potion and recovery magic, but only a specific concoction. Well, Aisha tanked that blast like a queen so i guess no complaint. Mikoto was the MVP. Despite being heavily wounded, not only did she manage to complete her chant, but also endured and prolong the gravitational pull for Ouka. Amazingly delivered, from the voice acting, the chanting, the emotion, the visual. In case you didn't realize, Ouka noticed Mikoto's chanting and by getting to the top of the ceiling, he could fully utilize the gravitational pull to his advantage, adding more power to his slashing technique. Without the aid of Level boost, a level 2 Ouka was able to chop down 1 head of a level 5 beast, making it quite a feat. The voice acting was absolutely phenomenal. I agreed with most of what you said about Cassandra. I am just sad that JC didn't seem to love her enough to truly allow her moment to shine. Hopefully part of the audience can understand and sympathize with her. Now that the first 3 episodes aredone airing, I am afraid that the visual and direction quality will take a nosedive. I can only hope JC don't mess up and deliver all the right moments in this arc.
