the boss didnt bother me at all because im aware with something that big and interestingly drawn it'll require 3d animation to allow it to move easier for the anime characters to fight it

I did not watch Danmachi until recently because I ran out of anime to watch. I thought it would be like Peter Grill and the Philosophers Stone with all the fan service but it is a wonderful anime. So many times I cried and was tearful. When Cassandra realized she had to stop ruminating about the visions of death and catastrophe and started healing everyone I teared up. I can't imagine having such horrible visions.

Dusk Walker

Jura's collar interfered with the dungeon's order so the Juggernaut gained the "free will" to focus only on Bell and Ryu instead of cleaning up the 25-27th floors. Since it abandoned its job, the dungeon ignored the time interval and spawned the Amphisbaena. Not only does the extremely hot blue napalm burn on water, but also once it touches you, you will catch on fire and keep burning. Even recovery magics are useless. Furthermore, the blue napalm fueled by dragon-bile propellant did not rely on magic, but on pure firepower, so Welf's anti-magic Will-o'-the-wisp was useless against it, unlike the case with the Hellhounds in S1. This flame alone is strong enough to turn the entire floor into a cauldron full of steam. The crimson mist doesn't just block magic, but also interferes with attacks and reduces visibility. Level Boost's effect can last about 15 minutes while its cooldown is 10 minutes. To keep maintaining the buff for the party, Haruhime has to be mindful of how many "tails" she gives and holds. Giving away all 5 tails at once will bring her close to Mind Down, and the potion supplies are limited. Aisha can hold her own with her past fight experience against the dragon. Thus, the buff was spread out to others, so they can deal more damage and don't die too fast due to the level difference. The fact she can hold the tail for the right moment to use is crucial in this Boss fight. As for Cassandra, well, there's no need to be too hard on her. She was already at the breaking point when she figured that all those adventurers down on the 27th floor were mercilessly wiped out so that her party could stay alive. She tried hard to keep everyone safe but then the dungeon mocked all her efforts by spawning the floor boss. During her entire life, no one, not even her best friend Daphne ever believed her prophetic dreams, no matter how much she begged, so she is used to defeat and despair. It sure felt easier to give up and let go, given her current state of mind. But then Daphne smacked some sense into her, so Cassandra can fight with clarity to defy fate now. Pay close attention to the second part of her prophecy at the start of the episode, it hinted the key to getting them out of this situation. The floor boss fight will last 3 episodes, until more shits happen.
