I do feel like episode 0 was needed to make me care about the characters more than I currently do but the lore and world make me want more alongside some cool action.

It’s widely agreed in the Arknights community that its music is one of its best aspect so much so that the community jokes about the game being an ad for their music label. So glad the OP and ED lived up to my expectations.

I agree I’m also a bit mixed about this anime. Like we don’t know really know anything about are heroes, and the dialogue can be a bit basic at times. But visuals and background/character designs are so well done. As is the worldbuilding of this setting as well. Which is like the opposite of many other anime shows. Which relies more on waifus and fan service to keep you interested
