Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files (Patreon)

This week's video was an unexpected surprise last season for me. I was on the edge of being burnt out on Fate and then this Waver spin-off came out that blended Sherlock Holmes with Fate mechanics and it was pretty incredible. The goal for the video was to both highlight why it is and isn't a mystery series but excels for being super unique thanks to Waver's perspective. It was sort of a challenge in some ways because areas of the anime are really a detective mystery that breaks all traditions but most importantly it's a Waver story so I tried to balance the script around this idea. It was just a really fun video to make due to the unique ideas it presented while not just feeling like another Fate entry but rather a fantastic anime. I'll have early access up sometime tonight.
