O Maidens in Your Savage Season (Patreon)

This week's video is on Mari Okada's 'O Maidens in Your Savage Season'. This was an interesting video to make as for those who don't know about the show, it deals with a group of high school girls growing up and becoming more aware of sex and the awkwardness that comes with it. The anime deals from things from childhood friend crushes, to simple dating, lust for a teacher, scum who groom kids into their fantasies, etc. It can range from hilarious to disturbing but that's the brilliance of Mari's writing, she can nail that damn near flawlessly. It's a painfully relatable show that really capture a unique outlook on high school life while touching upon really real topics anime rarely handles but thankfully Mari did. The anime was a tough one to script due to the complexity of the show but I’m proud of the video overall whether people enjoy it or not. But I think I ended up doing the anime justice by highlighting why this series is so fantastic in my own way.
