Damn it, the reversal I was hoping for is coming next episode instead of this one. As with so many things regarding this show, it's unexpected and simultaneously hilarious and refreshing. As I told my wife (who is a huge Fenrys stan), Flio is finally aware of the central problem: this is a generational conflict with legitimate grievances and fears on both sides, and the only way to claim a permanent victory is genocide. Everyone present during that discussion now understands that (I think Ghozal had the clearest picture going in) and it's a realization that will shake anyone to their core, no matter which side you're on. Flio's notion of "at least my new life is free from racial discrimination" went up in smoke when he found out it's actually worse when you look at it. Balirossa's preconception that demons are just evil and humanity is just good has taken a severe hit. Ghozal's hope for the future is looking shakier than before. Fenrys' simplistic worldview got expanded in uncomfortable directions. Everyone is going to have to rediscover common ground now that the full, ugly truth has been laid bare, and I love it.

Team Rocket is never gonna pose a threat? Ah... they freed the Djinn and as a result the wolf waifu was killed. They have already proven to be a capable threat despite being a bunch of bumbling fools. Also, that ending is kinda hilarious. He's about to talk back and when the guy notices her ass he instantly stops and stares at it. That's probably the most realistic thing so far in the entire anime.
