Remember in the first episode when Holo said that she needed. Either blood or grains of wheat to transform. Also that last part when Lawrence gets the invoice. Is like when you get a credit card bill from your partner, which makes you know where she is

More vocals in the remake and the OG has an eerie background of howling wind through many of the sewer scenes. Both fits very well. The OG Holo is (to me) slightly scarier, mostly due to you see less of her, the remake is more rounded, more puppy-like. I guess at the end there are only winners Mendio got the tariff free trade, Milone made money, learned a lesson and avoided the church. Lawrence made money and the opportunity to continue travelling with Holo. Even Yarei and the village, they will make a boatload of money in the future.
