I was surprised they fit it all in. Next week will have something shocking. I hope it’s renewed, the second volume is less Isekai more fantasy since the game events have all come and gone by then.

Patrick refused to be adopted. I don't know if it's me not understanding what you say (English is not my native language). For me her attempt to adopt him failed when he refused it, but he was willing to help her to reach her goals.
