Magic User got leg. Very nice art on this one. Might have been able to use Fighting Man and Magic User as new characters to comment on older editions (akin to Cavemen of our time, with them being drawn in a more primitive artstyle to contrast the style of the current) but we already had Thaumaturge for that, and there's a reason he's dead and floating around the Ethereal plane.

Possibly unpopular opinion: I kinda liked Thaumaturge, the "grumpy old man" shtick has good mileage (there's a reason the 4 yorkshiremen sketch is iconic).
