Wizard sighed as she cleared out another pile of loot Thief left behind when she moved out. You'd think a rogue would be more careful not to leave valuables behind. She tried lifting the lid of a small, plain-looking chest, but it was stuck tight. "Huh? Did someone jam the lock? ... well, no matter." The ring of a Knock spell shook the dusty of the dingy attic. The lid snapped open, its hinges surprisingly silent and well-oiled for such an abandoned relic. "What's this?" Wizard gingerly lifted a...hat(?) out of the box. Clearly handmade, it was formed from mismatched strips of cloth and ragged thread. The pointy tip crumpled sadly under its own weight, and the stars had already started wearing away. The wobbly brim threatened to tear away from the hat entirely. "It's a....wizard hat? Why would she have this? And why would she...wait, I think I recognize this needlework." The hat...ish object was clearly the work of Thief herself. But why? As Wizard idly turned the collection of cloth, thread and hope over in her hands, something fluttered out and fell to the floor. It was a folded piece of paper. Wizard bent down and scooped it up, carefully smoothing the paper out in her hands. It had yellowed with age, but the dry air had kept its message intact. For a moment, the attic was silent. Then, there was the soft sound of sobbing, and teardrops landing on dusty floorboards. On the slip of paper read the message, DERE WIZARD, YOU CASTE A SPELLE ON ME LUV THIEF

I really want the hat in canon handbook because it’s so sweet. Also Jayne Lindgren’s story like melted my heart. I love that.

We have some plans, I can't say if they include the hat, but there is something coming up that I think you'll enjoy in the normal Handbook comics!
