The curse of every artist is never being able to like what you produce.

Even though Handbook isn't my day job yet (a girl can dream, though!), I do get to illustrate professionally in between putting together endless copies of PDF fillable forms and trying not to cry when InDesign crashes for the fourteenth time since noon. Anyway, as of late, I've been getting to do more and more art at my company.  The more you DO art, the better you get at it, and while I still have a long way to go, every once in a while I get to sit back and look at something and realize that maybe I don't completely suck at this.

I'm proud of this one.

Or, you know, most of it.  Aside from a few little--damn it.  Okay, now I need to work on it again.

Check out handbookofheroes.com tomorrow for the full post!

If there's -anyone- I would trust to be able to navigate through the rules of an underwater kraken debacle, it's Cleric. He knows what's what.

I missed yesterday to comment but saw on the main page and came here to comment I really liked the art on this one. Had a real sweep similar to those grand nautical oil paintings
