I often use older comics for a quick color reference (I know, I know, custom palettes are a thing in Photoshop, but I never seem to have the time to set them up) so that the character palettes are always the same, and for some reason, I opened Comic #90 to reference Sorcerer's eye color for this one--and then promptly burst out laughing.  So much for Paladin's rugged lantern jaw.  Handbook has come a long way!  Also, I may have to redo the first 200 or so comics so that I'm not completely embarrassed to have my name associated with the art, now.

I know that feeling so hard. I'm writing my book still, but on occasion I look back at the very first draft that I was so proud of. I can't get past 3 or 4 paragraphs before I close the doc and can't take it anymore.

It is the creative curse! Colin asked me once if I'd think about buying the rights to my graphic novel series back from its publisher now that it's no longer being used, and I'm honestly so ashamed of the art that the suggestion was kind of horrifying. I don't want people to see that now!
