Did anyone else play through Runelords? I have to admit... my party didn't adopt the goblin baby.  We were pretty done with goblins in general by the time it came up, and the party wasn't feeling particularly merciful.

Best girl, best leader. I've heard the goblin baby thing come up on the Paizo forums, but I had no idea it was an actual thing in the game. Good times. I threw the same dilemma at my party in a homegame that I was running. They went with the Extermination approach.

I ran runelords once. They straight up spent like... what ended up being a total of like twelve irl hours in their quest to turn the goblin babies into a guard corps for the town.

Some players really like adopting the world, and the only real issue seems to be keeping track of them. My party in our long-running Pathfinder campaign has a habit of bringing home new NPCs and animal companions on a regular basis, which has lead to our poor GM having to remind us since we've long since lost track of who's been added to the roster. "Has anyone checked on those baby mountain lions out in the barn? No? The neighbors are starting to complain that the chickens are going missing, and one of your sentient plant clones wandered into a bar yesterday and the villagers have questions for you..."
